Atrial fibrillation is a common supraventricular arrhythmia characterized by rapid and irregular atrial activation without a clear P-wave on an electrocardiogram. New Research on Atrial Fibrillation and Ischemic Heart Disease begins by discussing the risk factors, symptoms, and treatment of atrial fibrillation.
