During this unprecedented time of the 2020 global pandemic, Covid-19, the entire world was forced into a lockdown. Yet, in the midst of all of the trials and tribulations, for many believers in Jesus Christ, the scriptures were our source of comfort, security and solace. A renewed strength was found through private and corporate prayer. Daily, I searched the scriptures and found eighteen lockdowns in the Bible. Each lockdown brought fresh perspectives of our Sovereign God who is always in control and always able to bring His great purposes to fruition. Prayerful, I summoned 16 pastors from my concentric circle, 14 from across the United States and two from the global Christian family, to share their perspectives on each lockdown. We are so thankful for the contribution of these wonderful pastors, who in the midst of the pandemic, took the time to write and contribute to this book. n nI know that this book will bless you and encourage you to see God in the midst of a pandemic. Expert health care professionals have warned us that without a vaccine that this pandemic will come back perhaps with a stronger challenge. So, may these spiritual truths give you applicable principles and valuable lessons in how to sustain and rejoice in the midst of a lockdown and to turn to the all-knowing and all-powerful God.
