Comprehensive Review of Electrodiagnostic Medicine and Neuromuscular Disorders 2014
As a busy neurologist or psychiatrist, you’ll appreciate the convenience of this expert-led EMG and neuromuscular CME.
Description
This program focuses on closing professional practice gaps in patient care provided by neurologists and physiatrists. Specifically, the program is focused on enhancing the clinical practice related to the following: evaluating and treating motor neuron disease, peripheral neuropathies (focal and generalized), neuromuscular junction disorders, radiculopathies, plexopathies, and myopathies. In particular, the lectures will review when to order specific laboratory and genetic tests, nerve ultrasounds, muscle and nerve biopsies, and basic and advanced electrodiagnostic techniques that are used in evaluation of patients with various possible neuromuscular disorders.
For each of the common and complex problems listed above, nationally recognized, clinically experienced practitioners
identified the gaps in their areas of expertise.
