The municipality of Tuluá is located in the heart of Valle del Cauca, which has allowed it to become a node and development pole for the north-central region of the department and is also part of the Buga-Tuluá-La Paila corridor, which is considered the most important in flow of goods and people from the south west of Colombia. Its socioeconomic dynamics has led to the establishment of a broad and solid infrastructure of entities oriented to the provision of services, highlighting among them the health area with influence mainly in the north-central region of the department and the coffee region.
